POSTING
Position: Senior Java/J2EE Developer (Multiple Openings)
Duties: Design, develop, test, and implement web-based, software application systems. Utilize key tools, including spreadsheets, JIRA, and MS Visio for business requirement planning, gathering, and updating. Review existing business processes and identifying process improvement and process optimization opportunities through automation and through the implementation of software solutions. Create solution architectures, screen and report prototypes, database entity relationship (ER) diagrams, and database definition language (DDL) scripts to create and modify database tables. Utilize MS Visio, common Integrated Development Environments (IDEs) such as Eclipse and Intellij, Structured Query Language (SQL), IBM DB2/UDB, JSP, JavaScript, and CSS. Write, update, and integrate server-side code using Java and J2EE and client-side code using JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS. Utilize MVC frameworks, including both Spring and Struts2, and Agile Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies. Utilize various data processing and analysis tools, including MS Access and MS Excel to develop bulk data migration, gathering, and loading tools and techniques. Fulfill various data extraction, analysis, and reporting services in response to user-initiated data requests Perform both unit and system integration testing of applications. Regular project status updates and reporting to upper management.
Location: Multiple undetermined worksites throughout the U.S.
Minimum Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor – Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or in a related field of study; will accept equivalent foreign degree.
Experience: Four (4) years in the position above, as a Programmer/Analyst, or in a related Java/J2EE development role.
Experience must include:
Five (5) years in the position above, as a Software Developer, Systems Analyst/Developer, or in a related Java/J2EE software development role;
Experience must include:
1) At least five (5) years working with Java/J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, jQuery, and CSS.
2) At least five (5) years working with Structured Query Language (SQL) and IBM DB2/UDB.
3) At least two (2) years working with Struts2 Framework and MS Access.
4) At least one (1) year working with IBM WebSphere Application Server, MS Visio, MS Project, and MS Office.
